This is Ronnie Fair's family's 12th year in business at the Christmas tree lot on the corner of NE 35th and NE Killingsworth streets, and business is just fine—they have a collection of trees starting at $10. For a small additional charge, Fair will throw in a tree stand. Then he insists on carrying your tree to the car and loading it in – or on top – personally, as he is for his customer Misael Sanchez. Local residents say it's just not Christmas without a visit to Fair's lot, a few hearty laughs and a big bear hug from the Christmas Tree Man.
